COMMUNICATION



COMMUNICATION begins with listening to our customers. Your first contact person remains your point of contact at all times. A geographically assigned account manager will meet with you to help you assess your snow and ice management needs and develop a service plan expressly suited for your property. When it snows, your account manager can answer questions about the services being performed at each property and will travel to the property in question if a concern arises. In addition, our 24-hour command center monitors the progress of our crews and provides a second point of contact for our clients. A third option tracks services by sending e-mail notices each morning during winter storms apprising our customers of the progress of our work at their properties.



WEATHER WATCHDOG



WEATHER WATCHDOG is an internal weather monitoring program allows us to track winter storms so you don’t have to. We receive up-to-the-minute reports on weather conditions and we measure surface temperatures to determine when snow will start to accumulate or ice will begin to form. As soon as forecasts or conditions require it, we dispatch field managers to watch for snow. They also monitor snow levels throughout each storm and patrol for ice during the freeze-thaw period afterwards.



RESOURCES



ASSIGNED EQUIPMENT AND MANPOWER are matched with specific properties. This approach enables us to start service on each property as soon as the snow accumulates and keep up with it until the snow stops, surfaces are cleared, and ice is melted. Our field operations are designed to support this team system with back-up equipment built into the design for each team. If equipment fails, our field management team can respond quickly. In blizzard conditions, the use of dedicated equipment, the team system, and the provision for back-up equipment ensures that our operators will remain on your property until the job is completed.
